Antigua offers accommodation for the traveler on every budget, ranging from a $10 hostel bed to a $400 luxury suite. We have chosen from this ample selection a few options for our guests. Rooms have been blocked under the bride’s name at the first three listings below; to reserve at one of these options, please contact Denise (who speaks both Spanish and English) from our wedding planning team at denise@weddingsinguatemala.com. Though these hotels have given us their best possible rates for the block, they have been known to provide deals on websites like expedia.com, booking.com, and hotels.com. All rates below are per night and include tax.
Hotel Los Pasos. Near the southeast corner of the city, Hotel Los Pasos is located in a colonial house with a beautiful inner courtyard. Casa Capuchinas. This adorable, eight-room B&B with a beautiful garden and lawn chairs for lounging is located just a couple blocks from the central park. Posada Los Bucaros. A good budget option, Los Bucaros is a 24-room hotel in a 19th-century home near the northwest edge of the city. Los Bucaros offers singles (approx. $38), doubles (approx. $52), and triples (approx. $65); the buffet breakfast is approx. $6. While we have not blocked off a set of rooms at Los Bucaros, you can check availability directly with the hotel.

Yellow House. This is where we stayed on our first trip to Antigua, and it is a great option for those on a limited budget who aren’t averse to the backpacker vibe. The House has 11 private rooms, all with shared bath, at $25-28 a night. We recommend the second-floor rooms, due to their access to a nice little terrace (though the shared baths are downstairs). In addition, there is a six-bed dorm room at $10 per person a night. Rates include a hearty Guatemalan buffet breakfast. We have not blocked rooms at the Yellow House; if you’re interested, reserve before this popular place fills up!
